The Faith of the Artist
We all want the faith of the movie stars.
We want to shine outstansding from tha rabble... we want drowinning kisses
thrown from the crowd.
Even tho we might get all that we are
doomed to ever see the things that we didn't do on our artwork. It is there, it
is finished, hanging on a museum wall and it lacks that special detail... a
simple small solution we could not find when we were executing the piece...
that brush stroke that would made all the difference to us and none to everyone
else.
Sweet and sour is our life. Sometimes
bitter, but hey!!! What a ride!!

Old Main Church in My Hometowm.
I have been told that once there was a beautiful church on the my hometown's main square.
Unfortunately, it's been destroyed by a nutty priest that decided it should be replaced by a bizzare example of modern early 70's architecture.
It is a shame.
Im trying to gather photos of the old church to make a painting. Hope it works because, from what I've seen, the church was really majestic.

The Artist's Decision
No matter what, where, or how much the artist has studied his labor.
No matter what type of media or tools the guy is using. Wheter it's a fork on a block of wax, a pencil on paper, a photographic composition, a computer program photo filter, or a stylus with a graphics tablet...
When and how to stop and consider that work finished (or forever unfinished!)
THAT CHOICE BELONGS TO THE ARTIST
that's what makes his work unique and, for that reason,
SHOULD ALWAYS BE CONSIDERED ART.
Art is not about the technique or the tools. It's about
EXPRESSING SOMETHING
So, unless there is no decision made, it is art.
